Our ski adventure in Whistler was absolutely fantastic, thanks to the incredible instruction from Amy Weller, a local expert with 28 years of knowledge. Amy's guidance took my daughter from a beginner to confidently tackling blue slopes in just one day, while my wife, a first-time skier, comfortably navigated a 3-mile green run. Amy even fine-tuned my skills with the latest ski designs, enabling me to conquer challenging blue and black diamond slopes. Amy introduced us to the "First Track" lift ticket, providing exclusive access to the mountain one hour before anyone else. I was captivated, especially with 11 inches of fresh powder. We enjoyed making the first tracks on black and double diamond runs, relishing the untouched snow. Throughout the week, we were blessed with 40 inches of fluffy powder, and lift lines were never more than a 5-minute wait. The lift staff was not only helpful but also a delight to interact with. Special thanks to the lift assistant who went out of her way to assist my wife with a boot issue. Amy's teaching expertise, combined with her deep local knowledge, made our ski vacation truly unforgettable. We've already secured our spot for next year, looking forward to returning to our ski-in/out condo at Storm Meadows on the mountain and exploring the fantastic restaurants in Old Town. Whistler has become our go-to winter getaway!

Our stay was truly memorable, especially with an exceptional skiing experience from MySkiLesson school. Opting for a private lesson as a first-timer, I was fortunate to have Joe Callen as my instructor. His patience and expertise turned the entire experience into a perfect 10/10. Applying Joe's tips and suggestions, I spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the slopes on my own, feeling comfortable and thoroughly enjoying my time. The kids had a blast with the Adventure Club, eagerly anticipating their return for a second day of fun. MySkiLesson school not only provided top-notch instruction but also made the experience delightful for the whole family. We can't wait to return to and explore more of the local skiing charm.

Our large group, consisting of approximately 20 individuals, took full advantage of the enticing Thursday passes at the Mountain, and what an incredible experience it was! Arriving bright and early for the first chair, we were met with perfect conditions that set the stage for an unforgettable day. Opting for a mix of private beginner lessons and group lessons, all led by certified instructors from MySkiLessons, we delved into the pristine slopes. The front side blue and green groomers were a dream, impeccably groomed and offering untouched perfection for the first couple of hours. For the more adventurous among us, the single black runs proved to be both challenging and exhilarating. After a satisfying lunch, we decided to explore higher grounds and took the lift to marvel at the breathtaking views. As an unexpected bonus, right after disembarking from the T bar, we were treated to the thrilling sight of an F-35 buzzing the mountain, adding an extra layer of excitement to our day. The vistas from up there were nothing short of spectacular, offering 360-degree views that truly showcased the beauty of the local landscape. The Mountain, with its varied terrain and memorable moments, left an indelible mark on our group, making it an adventure we'll cherish.

I am a PSIA certified ski/snowboard instructor at in Wyoming and in Utah. I competed in Boardercross halfpipe and extreme competitions. I can teach steep powder riding cliff drops halfpipe boardercross jumps and up to 540’s in the half pipe.
