Our large group, consisting of approximately 20 individuals, took full advantage of the enticing $99 Play Forever Thursday passes at Copper Mountain, and what an incredible experience it was! Arriving bright and early for the first chair, we were met with perfect conditions that set the stage for an unforgettable day. Opting for a mix of private beginner lessons and group lessons, all led by certified instructors from MySkiLessons, we delved into the world of Copper's pristine slopes. The front side blue and green groomers were a dream, impeccably groomed and offering untouched perfection for the first couple of hours. Soliloquy and Roundabout, with their super wide and long green groomers, provided an ideal playground for those honing their skiing skills. For the more adventurous among us, the single black runs proved to be both challenging and exhilarating. After a satisfying lunch, we decided to explore higher grounds and took the Storm King lift to marvel at the breathtaking views. As an unexpected bonus, right after disembarking from the T bar, we were treated to the thrilling sight of an F-35 buzzing the mountain, adding an extra layer of excitement to our day. The vistas from up there were nothing short of spectacular, offering 360-degree views that truly showcased the beauty of the local landscape. Copper Mountain, with its varied terrain and memorable moments, left an indelible mark on our group, making it an adventure we'll cherish.
